A pretty square whose foundations were set down in 1874. Planted with many flowers and tall palm trees that provide welcome shade during the hot summer months. At the center of the square is the Fuente Pavo de la Balsa (turkey in the pool!) and the square itself is surrounded by many buildings retaining their late 18thC facades. It is in this square that you will find the Ayuntamiento with its attractive Moorish influenced façade aswell as La Iglesia de San Jose built in 1853.
