Well equiped urban beach with possibility to caryy out many sports like beach volley-ball and football.

It is approximately 400m long and 8m wide located to the north of Aguilas.
Always a busy beach during the summer months and moderate on sunny days out of season.

It is overlooked by a promenade with many bars and restaurants and has many other facilities and services including, beach bars, hire of loungers and other accesories as well as being cleaned on adaily basis during peak season.

The Poniente beach is made up of dark sand and small gravel and normally has a moderate swell.

The beach has Life Guards patrolling as well as a Red Cross Post and a Local Police Office. The nearest hospital is the Rafael Mendez in Lorca some 40km away.

There is access for the disabled at varios points and general access is easy due to its location.

The Sailing Club of Aguilas is just 1km away.
