Situated in a quieter location 2km east of the town center is the Playa de Hornillo, a sandy beach about 1km in length that becomes slightly rockier towards its eastern end.

Looking out to sea from the beach you’ll find the ‘Friale’ Island, a small island with remains from the Roman era and ruins from the beginning of the 20th Century.

From this beach you also get a good view of the Landing Stage.
