Details

The new church in Canteras was originally built in 1858. A battle which took place during the first few days of July of 1936, part of the Civil War of Spain, left it bare and seriously damaged.

Once the war was over, reconstruction begun and after various remodelisations, it was finally completed in 1957, not so much as a rebuild as it was set out to be, but a new construction.

Mass takes place on Sundays and Bank Holidays at 10:00a.m.
