Almería airport is approximately 10km east of the city. It is a modern, well kept airport with 17 check-in desks and an annual capacity of 1.5 million passengers.

Access

By car: The airport is located at the end of a dual carriage way the AL-12. Acces is by the N340 highway and is well signed posted from the autovia. There is also signed access from the 'Autovia del Mediterranoe' A7.

By bus: Buses depart from outside the arrivals terminal linking the airport to the city centre bus and train station. It is a regular bus service that runs at half hourly intervals and is available from 7am - 10pm. A ticket costs around 0.85€

By taxi: The taxi rank is just outside the arrivals terminal and the taxis are of high standard. A trip to the city centre costs about 15€, to Aguadulce 19€, to Roquetas de Mar 26€ and to Mojacar 75€

Duty free shop, gift shop, newsagent, cafeterias, bar, disabled access and a tourist information desk.

Car parking: The car park is is in front of the airport an offers both short and long term parking rates.

Car hire: There are several car hire companies with desks at the airport including Europa (950 291 693), Europcar (950 292 934), Rucar (950 213 890) and Sol-Mar (950 626 016).
