Señorio de Roda is a typical Spanish village set among the orange and lemon groves which is very typical of this region of south east Spain. Señorío de Roda has unique traditional and middle-age details in its architecture. It is yet o­nly a short distance from the beaches of the Mar Menor and 10 minutes from San Javier airport (Murcia). Murcia Capital - The capital city of the region is o­nly 40 minutes by car from the Señorio and well worth a visit. You can choose to visit the modern shopping centers or if you would prefer just take in the history or enjoy the many tapas bars and restaurants. 





Cartagena - The old naval city of Cartagena is 20 minutes away by car and is another place of interest with stunning architecture,a Roman theatre and castle which can be seen whilst taking the tour bus with English commentary outlining the history of the city. You can also take a ferry around the harbour and out into the Mediterranean sea.
